John Brown University continues its growth in northwestern Arkansas with the purchase of Rock “94.5 The Fort” KFPW-FM Barling/Fort Smith from Pharis Broadcasting for $290,000. The buyer will flip the station to non-commercial status joining their Christian AC 90.9 KLRC Tahlequah OK and 101.1 KLAB Siloam Springs AR and Christian Rhythmic “100.3 Real-FM” KRLY Gravette AR. Pharis retains “The Sports Hog 103.5” KHGG-FM Mansfield and Classic Hits “Kool 104.7” KQBK Waldron AR.
