American Public Media Starts Sixth Local Journalism Challenge

American Public Media Group’s Glen Nelson Center has opened applications for the 2026 Next Challenge for Media & Journalism, a national competition that will distribute $250,000 to nonprofit and for-profit startups advancing local journalism innovation.
