Rural Virginia FM Poised To Trade Hands After Failed Deal

A Class A FM radio station serving a portion of Virginia’s Appalachia region bordering Kentucky has been sold. Pending regulatory approval, it puts this facility in the hands of Somerset Educational Broadcasting Foundation. That’s a bit different from the seller’s original plan, which involved a sale in 2024 that never closed.
