‘Voluntary Contribution’ To U.S. Treasury Settles FCC Rule Flub

Al ShuldinerMud Radio was just over one month late with its license renewal application. Why? It was due to an “inadvertent oversight.” Now, the Audio Division Chief of the FCC’s Media Bureau is willing to resolve the matter with a Consent Decree. And, it sees the licensee of a Vermont FM pay a civil penalty to the U.S. Treasury to wipe its slate clean.
