Dan Bongino, Ben Shapiro Earn Top 10 Finishes in February Podtrac Podcast Rankings

As he winds down his national radio show and podcast, Dan Bongino remains in the top 10 — alongside Ben Shapiro — in the latest Podtrac podcast rankings.

In February, The Daily from The New York Times recaptured the top spot in the Top Podcasts by U.S. Unique Monthly Audience category from Podtrac. It supplanted NPR News Now for first place, while Up First from NPR finished third.

Dateline NBC earned fourth place, while the Shawn Ryan Show rounded out the top five.

The Dan Bongino Show moved up one place to sixth during the month. It moved past the Fox News Hourly Update, which finished seventh. Bongnino’s nationally syndicated radio show and podcast are set to end on Friday, March 14th as he assumes the duties of Deputy Director of the FBI. He will be replaced by 105.9 WMAL host Vince Coglianese on both his radio show and podcast.

The Ben Shapiro Show saw a large increase — the largest in the top 10 — as it vaulted three positions to finish as the 10th most popular podcast of the month. His podcast from The Daily Wire was joined by Morning Wire in the top 20, as it finished 19th.

True crime television shows 20/20 from ABC News earned 17th place, while 48 Hours from CBS News was directly behind it in 18th. That marked a re-entry into the top 20 podcasts by U.S. Unique Monthly Audience for the CBS News show.

iHeartMedia earned the top two spots in the Top U.S. Podcast Publishers & Networks category with iHeart Audience Network and iHeartPodcasts finishing first and second respectively.

Libsyn, Acast, and NPR Sales Network rounded out the top five. Prominent podcast publishers like The Daily Wire (8th), PodcastOne (10th), Barstool Sports (12th), and Blaze Media (15th) also earned top 20 finishes in the latest rankings from Podtrac.
