Inovonics has released a new model of its FM SiteStreamer device for remote signal monitoring.
The INOmini 6545 FM SiteStreamer II is a web-enabled receiver that the company said is ideal for off-air monitoring of a distant radio transmitter.
The broadcast manufacturer said it has an SDR-based tuner with an updated LCD display. The device streams in the HE-AAC v2 audio format, which can support up to 10 simultaneous listeners. UDP streaming is supported, which the company said can be used to record or skim audio.
Inovonics said it added alarm options in the new model. The device can store 30 station presets that can be included in a “round robin” monitoring mode. It also has an FM band scanner that displays station RDS information.
The new model also has updated metering for both off-air and auxiliary reception and two levels of password protection.
