Darnell Canty’s Minority Radio Broadcasting acquires Spanish Tropical “Mega 105.7” 1310 WEMG/105.7 W289AZ Camden and 103.3 W277BA Millville NJ from Mega-Philadelphia LLC for $140,000 as part of the station’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring last year. Canty has served as Director Of Sales Marketing at the station since 2016.
After its failed $150,000 sale to Mike ‘Summers’ Gerdes’ Gerdes & Associates, brought an end to its four month old AAA “98.7 The Hawk” format, Jeffery Huffman’s Jacobs Radio Programming will acquire the station from Legacy Broadcasting for $125,000. A Time Brokerage Agreement will take effect on May 1. Jacobs Radio Programming owns stations in Oregon and Washington.
Trong Phan and Loan Nguyen’s Kolbe Good News Media LLC will purchase 1160 KBDT Highland Park/Dallas TX from Charles Kim’s Pacific Star Media for $475,000. The buyer’s will absorb the existing Time Brokerage Agreement with Tina Do and Hanh Van Do in place since 2022.
Sandra Woodruff and Eldenath DeVilya’s Scottview Media Project Inc will acquire Standards 1400 KBCH Lincoln City OR from David Miller’s Pacific West Broadcasting for $12,000.
Kyle Kratoville’s Craven County SBA Inc. transfers 88.1 WIID Rodanthe NC to Danny Ickes’ Seacoast Radio Network Corp. in exchange for the legal expenses incurred in the sale filing. The buyer filed last month to purchase the CP for 89.3 WNBA Milledgeville GA.
Marta Sanchez transfers Spanish Christian “Nueva Vida Radio” 880 WRRZ/102.5 W273DP Clinton NC from her for-profit Sanchez Broadcasting Company to her non-profit Ministerios La Gloria De Dios Inc. for no consideration.
