License Cancellations
Maria Guel’s Mekaddesh Group Corporation turns in all but one of their licenses surrendering 100.7 KEVQ-FM Crosbyton, 99.7 KYLQ Encinal, 107.3 KEVM-FM Junction, 107.3 KWFG-FM Knox City, 105.1 KEVK-FM Sanderson, 99.9 KDSP-FM Spur, and 96.7 KYLB Turkey TX. Mekaddesh Group Corporation retains 98.7 KZAM Pleasant Valley/Wichita Falls.
Salem Media Group turns in the license for 1250 WRCW Warrenton VA. WRCW had been simulcasting Conservative Talk “570 The Answer” WWRC Bethesda MD/Washington DC.
As it approaches its one-year anniversary of being silent, Northwestern Media surrenders 89.7 WSSK Saratoga Springs NY. WSSK went silent on April 28, 2024 after a truck struck the guy wires of its tower rendering the tower unsafe and subsequently dismantled.
Silent Notifications
After eight listener interference complaints from Lakes Media’s “US 98.3” WLUS-FM Clarksville VA, Curtis Media took Classic Rock “Rock-FM” 98.3 W252EL Cary/Raleigh NC following an FCC order. While awaiting to build out its CP to add a directional null away from WLUS-FM, Curtis has filed to operate from its current facility with a drop from 150 watts to 6 watts.

FCC Actions
A Notice of Violation was issued to Phoenix Radio Inc. for failing to notify the FCC of an ownership transfer of its tower for 1550 WUSP Utica NY it discovered while investigating a tower lighting complaint on the site.
Bestov Broadcasting’s 740 WIAC San Juan PR was issued a Notice of Violation for operating from a single tower with a non-directional pattern while authorized to operated from a two tower array with a directional pattern.
AM Changes
Recharge Media proposes to diplex its two Austin AMs.
