Pattison Media has announced that Carly Meyers has joined its Calgary station group as the new afternoon drive host on on 101.5 TODAY Radio (CKCE-FM).
Meyers, whose show will debut later this week, joins the Hot Adult Contemporary station after a five-month hiatus from radio after getting swept up in changes at Rogers Sports & Media in Vancouver. 101.5 Today Radio Assistant Program Director Taylor Daniels is currently hosting the 3 – 6 p.m. time slot.
Meyers was most recently heard on the drive home show on Vancouver’s JACK FM, alongside co-host Jay Brody. The on-air duo were initially part of the launch lineup on Rogers Sports & Media sister station SONiC RADiO (CKKS-FM) in June 2022. Prior to that, Meyers had a six-year run on 102.1 The Edge (CFNY-FM) Toronto.
The host started her radio career in Calgary, joining Corus Entertainment’s Country 105 (CKRY-FM) Calgary on overnights right out of high school. That led to a weekend gig and eventually a producer job on the morning show at Q107 down the hall. She later hosted in middays and mornings on X92.9 (CFEX-FM) Calgary.
Carly and Jay were two-time runners-up in the Best Major Market On-Air Team (Music) category in the Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards in 2022 and 2023.
